True to the meaning of the conference’s Latin name, Quo Vadis – “Where are you going?”, the conference is a platform for debate on the development of the games industry as a whole, on future trends and challenges.

Quo Vadis has established itself as the most important international game developers’ conference in Germany, and is Europe’s hot spot for games professionals.

The event has been held in Berlin since 2007 and drew more than 3,000 visitors in 2015.

Featuring a broad range of panel discussions, presentations and workshops, the developer-focused conference provides an insight into industry trends and is the centerpiece of the concurrent INTERNATIONAL GAMES WEEK BERLIN.

  • Henrik Jonsson is a Senior Developer at EA Ghost, the Gothenburg Studio responsible for Need for Speed Rivals, but his career in the games industry goes way back to the 90s. One particular highlight was his work on Anachronox at Ion Storm in Dallas.
  • Alex Huntchinson, Creative Director at Ubisoft Montreal, directed Far Cry 4 and Assassin’s Creed 3. Before that, he worked for EA and as Lead Designer for Maxis (Spore).
  • Luc Baghadoust, Michel Koch and Raoul Barbet are the founders of Dontnod Entertainment and responsible for the creation of the beautiful Life is Strange.
  • Kate Edwards is Executive Director of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA). She used to work at Microsoft and was one of "The 10 Most Powerful Women In Gaming" in the 2013 Forbes List.
  • Matt Firor is a legend in MMO gaming. He was the producer of Dark Age of Camelot and is now heading ZeniMax’ online studio (The Elder Scrolls Online).
  • Eva Gaspar is the CEO of Spanish indie studio Abylight, which published the award-winning game Tiny Thief.
  • Don Daglow is … well, there’s probably no need to introduce him. He’s a popular consultant in the games industry, a successful author, and he was involved in the creation of dozens of games.
