Nokia has big plans for GC Developers Conference

N-Gage will be high-profile in Leipzig

Nokia has big plans for GC Developers Conference
Nokia has been announced as the main sponsor of this year's GC Developers Conference (GCDC), which takes place in Leipzig this August.

Expect a keynote speech, a Nokia presence on several panels, and (hopefully) a bunch of announcements and product demos around its N-Gage games platform.

"We very much regard GCDC as a key event in the industry calendar, and we look forward to showcasing our latest innovations at the show," says Kay Gruenwoldt, head of title marketing at Nokia.

GCDC is the industry spin-off event from the Leipzig Games Convention show. Both have become increasingly important for the mobile industry since E3 altered its focus last year.

The GCDC event is expected to attract more than 1,000 attendees this year. Naturally, PocketGamer.biz will be among them, rooting out news and views from the show.
