Google has released its latest messaging app for mobile which looks to rival iOS 10's messaging upgrade.
Dubbed Allo, the messaging app features the ability to send stickers, change the size of fonts, send videos and GIFs directly in the app, and edit photos to send to participants in the message.
It also includes Google Assistant, a chatbot that everyone in a group message can interact with to provide travel information on Google Maps, pull up local shops based on emojis, and so on.

It also uses machine learning and AI to suggest replies for users, including full sentences, a step up from the usual auto-suggestion of most messaging apps.
Allo comes hot on the heels of Apple's improvements to Messages in iOS 10, which also adds stickers, font changes, and the like. Apple's app does include the option to replace words with emoji, however.
It also means that there's one less thing for Google to reveal at its upcoming event, where it is expected to unveil a new smartphone, and possibly launch Google Daydream.
