NetEase (NASDAQ: NTES) has posted its financials for its Q3 FY16 for the three months ending September 30th 2016.
It shows overall revenues of $1.38 billion, an increase of 38.1% year-on-year. It also saw profits increase 38.5% year-on-year to $799.8 million.
NetEase's online games services, which includes its mobile games, saw revenues of $984.9 million, up 26% year-on-year.
Plenty to play
NetEase attributed its success to its mobile portfolio with over 100 titles launched. Particular hits included new releases Onmyoji and New Ghost, as well as the continued success of Fantasy Westward Journey and Westward Journey Online.
Looking ahead, NetEase published Nexon's Heroes of Incredible Tales in China just after the quarter ended. It also has many more games to come, including Heroes of Tang Dynasty Mobile, Demon Seals Mobile and Land of Glory.
