GameFounders, the global startup accelerator for games, will expand the Fall 2016 intake on its Malaysia program by increasing seed capital nearly 50% to $25,000.
It is also pushing the deadline from 10 June to 20 June.
Added time
This upcoming 3-month program will be hosted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and will run its sixth edition from August to November.
The Malaysian city has recently become a game development hub in Southeast Asia, and will host 10 new studios to jumpstart their business and meet top industry mentors.
Indie studios or new game development teams worldwide with a finished game, playable build or a prototype in hand are encouraged to apply, and will be selected according to the team composition, long-term vision, and quality of products.
GameFounders has collaborated with 49 young studios from 22 different countries since 2012, helping them boost the development of their games.
Earlier applicants are considered first, so teams are encouraged to apply here as soon as possible.
